LED upgrade — replacing halogens

Can you install smart lighting throughout my house?
Yes — we install Philips Hue, LIFX, Lutron, and wired smart dimmer systems. Often easier to plan as one project alongside other electrical work.
Do I need a special LED bulb for my downlights?
Most modern GU10 halogens are direct-replaceable with GU10 LEDs. For very old fittings or ones in fire-rated ceilings, we may recommend swapping the fitting too. We'll advise.
Will smart lighting work without WiFi?
Most systems need WiFi or a hub. Lutron and some Z-Wave systems use radio frequencies and will work even if your internet is down — useful for backup.
Can I have outdoor lighting on a timer or sensor?
Yes — PIR sensors, time clocks and smart dimmers all available. We typically combine PIR for security/path lights with manual override for entertaining areas.
Are the lights guaranteed?
Workmanship warranty is 12 months. The lights themselves come with their manufacturer warranty (typically 2-5 years for LEDs).
