What information we collect

Complete a quote request or contact form (name, phone number, email address, postcode, service interest)
Call us (your phone number may be retained in our call logs)
Email us

How we use your information

Respond to your enquiry and arrange surveys and quotations
Communicate about your installation (booking, confirmation, aftercare)
Send service-related communications where you have requested them
Meet our legal and regulatory obligations — MCS and NAPIT documentation, Part P notification, and Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant applications to Ofgem

We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing and we do not sell your data to third parties.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only where necessary:

With MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) as required for certification of your installation
With NAPIT as required for Part P Building Regulations notification of electrical works
With RECC (Renewable Energy Consumer Code) where required for dispute resolution as part of our membership obligations
With our engineers, approved subcontractors and specialist partners who carry out work on our behalf — including electricians, our MCS certified heat pump installer, cleaning operatives and accredited Domestic Energy Assessors. They receive only what they need to do the job, which for an installation means your name, address, contact details and the survey and design information for your property. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for anything else
With Ofgem where you are applying for a Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant. The application is made in your name by the MCS certified installer with your written consent, and includes your name, address, contact details, property and heating system details, and the value of the installation. Ofgem may contact you directly to verify the application or as part of an audit
With your Distribution Network Operator (for this region, National Grid Electricity Distribution) for the connection application or notification that a solar, battery, heat pump or EV charger installation requires — your name, address, MPAN and the technical details of the system
With the Independent Warranty Association (IWA) to register your deposit protection and insurance-backed guarantee — your name, address and installation details
With the government EPC register, where an assessor working with us lodges an Energy Performance Certificate for your property. Lodged certificates are published on the public register
With your energy supplier, where you ask us to help set up a Smart Export Guarantee tariff — your name, address, MPAN and MCS certificate number
With our finance provider, where you choose to pay by finance — and only the information needed for your application, which you submit to them directly
With our accountants, insurers and professional advisers, and with a court or regulator where we are required to disclose
With our email provider for enquiry routing (data stays within EU/UK)
With Google (as a data processor) for analytics and map embedding — but only if you have given consent via our cookie banner. Google may transfer this data outside the UK/EEA under Standard Contractual Clauses
With Microsoft (as a data processor) for website session analytics via Microsoft Clarity — but only if you have given consent via our cookie banner. Microsoft Clarity records anonymised session data including mouse movements and page interactions to help us improve the website. Microsoft may transfer this data outside the UK/EEA under Standard Contractual Clauses
With Ahrefs (as a data processor) for website traffic analytics via Ahrefs Web Analytics. Ahrefs Web Analytics is a privacy-friendly tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. No consent is required for this service
We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies

How long we keep your data

Enquiries that don't convert to an installation: deleted after 12 months
Customer records (installed customers): retained for 10 years for warranty and legal purposes
MCS records: retained as required by MCS certification rules
Boiler Upgrade Scheme records: retained for as long as Ofgem requires them to be available for audit under the scheme rules

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
Restrict processing of your data — for example, while a dispute about accuracy is resolved
Data portability — receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format where processing is based on consent or contract
